General DataComm Industries GPS-1A/1B power supply. A rack mountable power supply that is pretty much useless in today's world. Input voltage = 120 vac. Outputs: 5 vdc @ 16 amps, +12 vdc @ 4 amps & -12 vdc @ 4 amps. However, in linear power supplies the name of the game is iron and this power supply has plenty of iron. Parts included:

• 1 Transformer - 120 vac primary, Secondaries: one 18 vct & two 15 vac
• 5 MBR2530 diodes, 25 amp, 100v Schottky Barrier mounted and insulated on a 100 watt heatsink
• 2 Motorola MDA990-1 bridge rectifiers rated at 30 amps, 50 vac mounted on another heatsink
• 6 Mepco 30,000 mF, 25v electrolytic capacitors
• 2 Pass transistor assemblies, each with 3 socketed 2N3055 15 amp transistors insulated on a 300 watt heatsink
• 3 1600 mF, 15v Mallory caps on a circuit board
• 3 2N4918 TO-225A transistors insulated and mounted to a heatsink plate

The 12v supplies appear to use LM723 chips to control TO-220 transistors, 2 per supply. Virtually all high current wiring is interconnected via heavy gauge wire and 1/4" spade lugs using three (3) 8 position barrier terminal strips with 4 lugs per position. There is also a 6 position barrier terminal strip of the same style. The output connections on the back panel use the same style 4 position barrier strip.

The unit includes about 98% of the parts you need to build a 13.6v, 15 amp DC supply. There are even switches, LEDs with holders, a couple of thermal switches and all the wire included to finish it off. You supply the power cord.
