It's here at last! The ultimate variable
inductor. Isn't your tuner or amplifier project worth the very
best? Made exclusively for Surplus Sales of Nebraska.
0.1 - 40 µH variable edge wound inductor. Taper
wound lower end (higher Q) for better results beyond 20 MHz.
Enough inductance for work below 160 meters too. All RF surfaces
are thick silver plated. Quad 10 amp contact sets on all
rotating connections; coil to rotor; rotor to shaft armature; shaft
armature to to end plate contacts. There are no weak links
with our mil-spec design.
Perfect for 2-10 kw antenna tuners, tank network for amplifier
or anywhere a larger, high Q, variable inductance is required.
Be sure to use our turns counter (SHW) TCV.

Motorized roller inductor. 0.1 to 28 µH. with 12 vdc reversible motor with limit switches. Requires 10 sec to go end to end. 10 turn, 10k ohm pot coupled to motor to indicate position to external sense circuit. Attached PC board contains TIP140 Darlington transistors that drive the motor. Use an external 10 turn pot and TTL logic to compare with the on-board pot to control the on-board motor drivers. Roller tap tied to one end of the coil and the "N" female input connector. Easily removed. Output lead is spade lug female on lead. Ceramic form - end plates. 5-1/2" x 8-3/8" x 6" high. NOTE: This is the inductor used in the SRS-645, 1 kw tuner shown on this page. LaPoint 406-32; same as Johnson 229-203. |

Healthy torque
manages any component in their line. 70 rpm at 24 vac 60 Hz,
with full rated load. Lower voltage to lower speed also decreases
torque. Double 1/4" shaft exits each side of gearbox.
Mounts by threaded post sockets on front spaced in a 1-9/16"
square.
Max dimensions 3-3/4" high x 2-7/8"
wide x 3-1/2" deep from mounting posts to electrical
terminals on back. MK Model QFS3420R. Includes starting cap
